My upcycled designs have been featured in Treehugger.com, Recyclart.com and Cloth, Paper Scissors Magazine, Donna Karan's Urban Zen and New York Maker Faire.
The process of discovery and experimentation is very much part of my creative process, so that is what I bring to my workshops and classes. I provide a variety of interesting recycled materials along with inspiration, technical instruction, and encouragement. My goal is for every person to interact with the materials to create or invent something unique. When I’m working with adults, teens or children I always provide a playful process oriented environment. The creative process, innovation and collaboration is always more important than a predictable result.
I offer workshops in fashion and costume design using repurposed materials in the NY Metro/Long Island area. Contact me to customize a workshop for your group or event.
